  • When listing “Buy it Nows” always leave up some straight auction beads to avoid an empty ebay

  • Raku/clear/raku/clear is hecka cool
  • Use thin red copper green for the best florals
  • It’s a rush to buy new glass
  • Neck burns hurt
  • Swirly glass makes a great vessel
  • Boro can go REALLY slow
  • Bad boro can become a pendant
  • Implosions are fun, but I want more heat to do many more of them

  • Raku over a mix of dark red and brown takes longer to “pop”
  • Remember to not mix reducing colors and silvered glass if you don’t’ want the reducing colors to reduce
  • Sometimes, a press would be nice to keep things even
  • I need more silver leaf
  • I need to use more silver foil
  • Vetro colors behave differently- I need to play with more of those

  • Light cobalt well to show that it is transparent
  • Mica flakes may be encasable with a swirl after to “attach” them inside the bead

  • Don’t poke flowers willy nilly or you may be cross-pollinating the wrong ones

  • Dark red-brown spreads on opal yellow -don’t overheat the florals because otherwise the color looks good
  • Just a bit of striking yellow over dark-red brown gives a nice depth to florals
  • Unstruck opal yellow is frusterating after having no issues
  • Red copper green can wash out - or not strike- whatever it is it can have not so colorful areas in a floral
  • Use crisp edges on vine cane or lay a petal over the end
  • When breaking off a stringer- hold the bead over or to the side of the stringer-not beneath
