  • Powdered frit clumps up easily
  • I need to create some beads just for the website, not ebay
  • Raku photographs better indoors
  • Iris green halos quickly

-Turquoise is much darker than I anticipated

-Turquoise/ivory/light turquoise offers some variety

-I love muted colors  - need to stock up on some avocado and sage

-Some beads are fun to look at up close, but may not be good “from afar” for jewelry

-I need to keep practicing with copper- I did better on the hothead- maybe using a more reducing flame would help. It seems no matter how long I cook they end up too dark with not enough color

-I love not knowing what an organic will look like until it comes out of the kiln

-Using a tungsten to bring up some base color helps break up the copper darkness

-I can’t decide if a not completely flat bead is worth selling even though I like the worry bead shape- not everyone carries beads in their pockets- maybe they should

-Tungsten pick waves are easier to ruin a bead with- but they also make a wave just a bit different than every other wave
