-It is possible to fill a kiln with ugly beads
-Buttons are fun
-I tend to knock over frit dishes- I need to find a clean, flat solution
-I still need to find the reduction spot in my cc that will allow me to get some of the color results I liked from my hothead
-Bicones are much easier with more heat
-I love seeing “my” glass used in other people’s beads
-I should think before using my real name in a forum
-Stress makes me break out
-I makes smaller beads on a bigger torch
-Skinny mandrels don’t like to let go of beads
-Presses would be higher on my list if I could use bigger mandrels
-I want to learn some wire work
-A wonky bead on a cord goes for $30 at auction- I find that encouraging
-I should curtail my daytime posting

-I love the blues of raku
-Take more notes- duplication can be hard
-Light blue opaque frit under raku can look very cool
-It will take ppp to get the right amount of glass in a press
-My anniversary is this weekend – yes, I had to be reminded
-Picasso silver on silver on ivory – yummy
-Poked bubbles- easier than I expected, simple and pretty
-I can’t have too many mandrels
-The market for beads online is completely different than the market offline
-Tangerine orange from Effetre looks a lot like streaky oddlot Bullseye red with didys on

-Raku loves a press
-Using a press as the beginning of a shape and purposefully overfilling for “wings” can have great results
-The mini will burn through a little mandrel when using my hot head encasing technique
-Don’t put a burned through mandrel bead in the kiln- dunk it
-When moving a kiln closer to the work area, keep in mind that the bead needs to be out of the heat longer before going into the kiln
-I could come to like small sets of slam beads as a diversion
-Caliente glass is more intense colored than I expected
-Picasso silver glass will take more work to lose the taupe color

-The show and tell gallery really is helpful for sales
-Watchers in an auction make me want to watch the ending of an auction
-Lighting from the front also helps my photos
-I need to take the time to take more photos outside
-”Dead Like Me” is a show I should have caught onto long ago
-If one of my two favs doesn’t win RockStar, I’ll be disappointed

-Long bicones are easier to get straight than fat bicones
-I like a slightly lopsided bicone for wearing horizontally
-When doing clear ends on a bicone, start with the clear then use the opaque over it in the center to avoid bleed that looks like a dirty bead on the meet-up point
-Coral can burn out like EDP when abused
-I don’t need silver on every organic bead
-I need to keep working to find the reduction point on the mini cc that comes close to the regular setting on my hot head – Or I need to find an efficient way to hook up both near a kiln
-Alcohol can be an effective medication
-Ventilation and an oxy con still don’t equal the noise of a hot head

-Rocio Silver Mist is easier to use than Rocio Picasso
-Rocio Silver Mist – slight reduction flame, make the bead, flash the rod in low in the flame, use the rod on bead, bring glass close to flame to melt in until you see it start to bloom- you’ll see an outline form everywhere the glass is just outside where you put it, if the glass is drippy- pull it out to the higher flame until more sturdy, flash back near the tip, cool and encase. If the glass is not drippy, keep in for a two count, pull up to cool, encase. Fun colors!
-After dotting raku with clear, the raku can make fun swirls of color around the clear dots that make them stand out more
-An octopus is too big for my bead door
-making a cool bead with lots of hand-pulled glasses and silver that comes out of the kiln straight black is no fun
-When your best floral ever gets stuck on a mandrel- take a pic before asking hubby to manhandle it

-Get too cocky with new torch = melted blob on the cookie sheet
-Chinese Auction makes a mess out of my workspace – pick a gift, change a gift, add, take away, swap colors, make notes…
-R4 glass looks better in blobs than thin lines
-I can still make raku ugly on my new torch
-I need to make lots of spacers to get the feel for glass on the mini cc before I go back t working larger
-I’ll need to run two torches for awhile if I want to have enough to sell also
-Spacers are easier and super quick on the mini cc
-Iris green spreads like crazy
-Iris green swallows opaque colors on top of it
-Iris green, yellow and blue all go to a fuzzy dot of color surrounded by white and a black halo when cooked on white, less cooking loses the halo

-I need to learn how to check raku - I got gorgeous blues on one side and blech on the other
-I need to retry all my colors on the new torch- some are almost completely different colors than when I work them on a hothead
-I need to buy pop rocks
-Iris green over pale yellow does not pop
-Melting swirly colors slowly leaves more swirl
-As much as i want to go see everything and everyone at the gathering, I would come home broke
-I own that i have an odd combination of over-thinking and self-control issues

-the new glass from R4 was amazingly easy to use when I snuck in a bead on my new mini cc
-I am too impatient to wait for my whole studio to be set up
-I should start a side game base don how many albums and tapes and 8 tracks I have- but that would mean counting and admitting a problem
-The mini cc is going to take a “don’t drip’ learning curve
-I didn’t get the wrinkles in my black on the mini cc- so I can do more transparents and stop trying to figure out what I was doing on those with the hot head
-I already miss my husband who headed to Vegas for work this week
-The Oil of Olay microdermabrasion makes your skin really soft

-Paisley is an attainable glass design with a touch more stringer control
-I need to use 96 coe when I want a true white
-Welding hose cannot connect directly to a gas line
