-People probably have those dippy ends on pressed beads to avoid having the glass spill out the sides
-I should bite my tongue when talking to a depressed person
-I like the red streaks on overcooked blues and greens
-Etching ugly beads is easy, etching nice beads is a bit more nerve wracking
-Beads are like bunnies
-Orange scones are worth the calories
-Propane makes my hands stink

-Silvered cobalt is earthy on yellow opal and celestial on black
-Encased stringer is super shiny left raised
-Using a scissors to cut stamen out just a bit from where it would break off looks better
-Stamen, clear, remove excess clear, encase
-Balancing encased flowerers will help avoid triangular encased beads
-Pale rose over white makes a washed out looking flower
-My local supplier has striking yellow mislabled as straw yellow
-No matter how far back I put the kiln, it’s still possible for hubby to run into it
-Break down, make stringers for florals instead of full rods
-I need to cut more storage
-Straw yellow doesn’t strike
-I can’t have too many mandrels

-Rubino takes longer to melt in than any other glass I’ve tried
-Iris gold is great when reactive unless you accidentally reduce it instead
-Sloppy lip wrapping leaves ugly ends or overdone ends when you try to repair
-Coral and grass makes a fun twisty
-Aquamarine and grass green look good side by side
-Twisties should go on top of transparent, not in
-Sky blue, rolled in mixed blue frit, silver foil, mixed blue frit and above mentioned twisty lip wrapped with cobalt is something I would wear
-I like twisties raised and melted in
-End of day (week, month) beads with copper melted in get great patterns
-Stumpshaper is great for working on evening barrel bead ends
-Alex wants to learn more about beadmaking
-Presses are learnable, but frustrating
-Braeden thinks a bead is a “pretty”
-Lots of melted in dots sometimes need something more- visual or real texture
-A bead dropped on the carpet can be salvaged if done quickly enough, the carpet cannot

-Etching cleans the red off of overheated greens and blues
-Agate looks good etched
-Some colors don’t seem to change at all etched- dark trans aquamarine being one
-I should try solution instead of etching cream
-Etching cream takes at least eight washings to go away if you leave it to dry
-The pillow trio of much smaller than I expected
-Presses are going to take come time to get used to
-The trio pillow presses uses tiny mandrels
-Sondra’s life makes me tired
-Twisties make great controlled raised designs
-Cobalt base, pea green vines and white flowers works well for a bold bead
-When encasing foil keep the base further out than normal
-Scared mama birds throw eggs

-There is a definite difference in talking to effetre and boro users about glass colors
-I like to have my glass close at hand so I can change my mind while torching
-I need a bigger bead jar
-It’s exciting to turn on a kiln for the first time
-Transparent mosaic doesn’t look transparent
-There are early and late versions of “red copper green” with different numbers of rings
-I spread to the room allowed
-I love greens

-Cutting glass is easier than I expected
-The right glass is not always delivered in an order
-I’m in lust with dark lavender, should have ordered it

-Transparent grey is darker when in a large bead than I expect
-My camera sometimes selectively does not download all pictures
-Schott clear is clear
-Shott clear is more prone to strips of air if I don’t pay attention
-Outdoor birds trapped inside see the torch as a line of demarcation
-I like puffy hearts on paper and freeform hearts in hand
-Decorate hearts after shaping
-I’ve got a lot to learn

-If making lattichino with a bad rod of white, next time try encasing it before using
-Bullseye takes longer to cool- important to note when encasing
-In a black and white bead, keep the black thick
-JC Rocks
-Allergies and hot glass don’t mix
